Kidsport does not follow the school system with regards to closing during bad weather.  Our policy is as follows:

Kidsport and Tumblebus will close from time to time due to bad weather. Your child’s safety is foremost on our minds when we decide to close.

We do not always follow the school system with regards to closings. Please call the gym or your child care center to inquire about classes during severe weather, snow and ice.

We will do our best to offer make-up classes, however, it may not always be possible due to scheduling conflicts in the gym. 

For morning classes, we will probably follow the school system's lead on closing FOR THE MORNING CLASSES ONLY.  For the afternoon classes, we will generally decide by noon and post this on our website and our answering machine message.  Many times the roads are clear by the afternoons and it is OK to drive.

Always use your own best judgment.  If you do not feel comfortable driving even if we hold classes, we will still do our best to offer you a make up class.
